"Seagate Technology announced today that it has released Maxtor Fusion, a new home networking solution for consumers, creative professionals and small business owners. The new Maxtor Fusion solution will make its official retail debut tomorrow, June 15, with a live product demo at J&R Music and Computer World’s flagship store in New York City, during the store's Summer Festival promotion.
The Maxtor Fusion personal media solution from Seagate is said to offer an innovative combination of software, hardware and a new web application, licensed from software maker Fabrik Inc, to make it easier for users to store, organize, personalize and selectively share multimedia content with friends and family (within social networks).
Targeted for families, creative professionals, bloggers, scrapbookers and anyone who enjoys creating, viewing and sharing a large amount of digital content, the Maxtor Fusion solution offers a half-terabyte (500GB) of networked storage that can be shared and enjoyed securely on the web."
