Ricoh releases Caplio R5 firmware version 1.55

Ricoh releases yet another firmware update for their Caplio R5 digital camera. This latest firmware update, version 1.55, provides "improved stability at the USB connection to a computer" or in plain English it will correct some USB connectivity problems. It seems that Ricoh is releasing a firmware update for the R5 each month. As we already stated with the October R5 firmware update, version 1.44, one would expect some more consideration, as updating firmware is still a delicate undertaking... Read the full article here
