Phantom Miro 3 Camera By Vision Research

Vision Research recently unveiled its new series of Phantom high-speed digital cameras, including the Phantom Miro 3, which could be used for Hydraulically Controlled, Gas Energized (HYGE) crash simulations used in the automotive industry. The camera is capable of taking 12x512 images at up to 2200 frames-per-second (fps and 95,000 fps in 32 x 32 resolution.
One also comes across a an ISO rating of 4800 (monochrome, saturation-based ISO 12232) and shutter speeds as low as 2 microseconds. Users can equip the camera with any standard 1" C-mount lens. Other features include; dynamic RAM and internal flash memory, external triggering, camera synchronization, and time-stamping. The Miro 3 is available now with deliveries ranging from 4-6 weeks.
