Olympus Stylus 830 Digital Camera Review
- 11-12-2007
The 8-megapixel Stylus 830 is part of Olympus's "Design & Performance" series, characterized by slim, weatherproof bodies. A 5x optical zoom lens, mechanical image stabilization, face detection, and a 2.5-inch LCD are among the highlights of this model, introduced in August. It had a $329.99 introductory price. The lens takes up the right half of the front face. When the camera is turned on the 36-180mm lens extends to three tiers. To the top left of the lens are three holes for the camera’s microphone. To the left of the microphone is the flash and self-timer lamp. Below that is the Olympus logo embedded in a shiny silver casing. The Stylus 830’s key specs are printed on the front: 8.0 megapixels, 5x optical zoom, and all-weather. Read the whole review here
