Olympus Announces 7.1MP Stylus 780

Olympus has added a new ultracompact point-and-shoot to its Stylus line. The 7.1-megapixel Stylus 780 offers an f/3.3-5.0, 36mm-180mm 5x zoom lens (35mm equivalent) and a 230,000-pixel, 2.5-inch LCD with a moderately wide 140-degree viewing angle. The 780's metal body is sealed against moisture and dust with rubber gaskets. The camera also incorporates a sensor-based optical image stabilization system and uses Olympus's new TruePic III image processor to improve image quality and performance.
