Fujifilm FinePix F60fd Digital Camera Review

For a $299 camera, the Fujifilm FinePix F60fd has some intriguing features, including a 12-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD, a nicely built metal body and aperture- and shutter-priority modes for enhanced control while shooting. We also like the fast and accurate face detection system, which does a better job of identifying people in profile than most, and the Natural Light with Flash mode that automatically shoots two photos in sequence, one with and one without flash. This trademark Fujifilm feature proves very useful in real-world photographic situations, when you'd rather not have to use the flash but don't want to risk losing the shot either. Lab testing turned up some significant problems, though, including higher than expected image noise and positively pokey performance on most speed tests. Read the whole review here.
