AFP Photographer Jaime Razuri Is Kidnapped in Gaza City

Jaime Razuri, a photographer for Agence France-Presse, was abducted Monday by armed men in front of the AFP office in Gaza City, according to the news agency.
Razuri, who is from Peru and had only been in Gaza a few days, is the latest international journalist to be kidnapped in the Palestinian-controlled territory. The abductors typically hold journalists for a day or two and set them free unharmed, though some have been held longer. It is thought that Palestinian factions use the kidnapped journalists as bargaining chips to secure the release of prisoners. Read the full article here
